Lois, Love the name! My son Matthew introduced me to Gossamer - then I chose it for my book club this month. Wondered if you had any discussion questions you would like to share. I loved it by the way, it gave me many nights of sweet dreams after a scary surgery. Thoughtful son, don't you think. I believe you met him in Torento last year he is a valued teacher. I am so proud!!
That's impressive!! Being Iraqi-American, I'm a native speaker of Arabic--that is one *difficult* language for English speakers to learn. The painting is lovely as well!

I love the painting. It reminds me of one of Salley Mavor's fabric relief pictures in Martin Waddell's THE HOLLYHOCK WALL.
